Prayer

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) used to pray towards Bayt al-Maqdis, that it was
revealed (to him): "Indeed We see the turning of the face to heaven, wherefore We shall assuredly
cause thee to turn towards Qiblah which shall please thee. So turn thy face towards the sacred
Mosque (Ka'bah)" (ii.144). A person from Banu Salamah was going; (he found the people) in ruku
(while) praying the dawn prayer and they had said one rak'ah. He said in a loud voice: Listen! the
Qiblah has been changed and they turned towards (the new) Qiblah (Ka'bah) in that very state. (Muslim No. 1075)

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) used to attack the enemy when it was dawn. He
would listen to the Adhan; so if he heard an Adhan, he stopped, otherwise made an attack. Once on
hearing a man say: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, the Messenger of Allah
(peace_be_upon_him) remarked: He is following al-Fitrah (al-Islam). Then hearing him say: I
testify that there is no god but Allah, there is no god but Allah, the Messenger of Allah
(peace_be_upon_him) said: You have come out of Fire (of Hell). They looked at him and found
that he was a goat-herd.

Blind People Can Pronounce Adhan

Narrated Aisha:
Ibn Umm Maktum used to pronounce Adhan at the behest of the Messenger of Allah
(peace_be_upon_him) (despite the fact) that he was blind. (Muslim No. 743)

The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) taught him Adhan like this: Allah is the Greatest, Allah
is the Greatest; I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah; I
testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of
Allah, and it should be again repeated: I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is
no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is
the Messenger of Allah. Come to the prayer (twice). Come to the Prayer(twice). Ishaq added: Allah
is the greatest, Allah is the Greatest; there is no god but Allah. (Muslim No. 740)

Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) happened to pass by a heap of
eatables (corn). He thrust his hand in that (heap) and his fingers were moistened. He
said to the owner of the heap of eatables (corn): What is this? Messenger of Allah,
these have been drenched by rainfall. He (the Prophet) remarked: Why did you not
place this (the drenched part of the heap) over other eatables so that the people could
see it? He who deceives is not of me (is not my follower). (Muslim No. 183)

Prophet's Message to His Uncle

Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Messenger of Allah said to his uncle (at the time of his death): Make a
profession of it that there is no god but Allah and I will bear testimony (of your being
a Muslim) on the Day of Judgment. He (AbuTalib) said: Were it not the fear of the
Quraysh blaming me (and ) saying that it was the fear of (approaching death) that
induced me to do so, I would have certainly delighted your eyes. It was then that
Allah revealed: Verily thou can not guide to the right path whom thou lovest. And it
is Allah Who guideth whom He will and He knoweth best who are the guided
(xxviii.56).

I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: He who professed that
there is no god but Allah and made a denial of everything which the people worship
besides Allah, his property and blood became inviolable, and their affairs rest with
Allah.

get Hadith:

From Aghar bin Yasar al-Muzani RA said: Messenger of Allah sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam said:

"O people, repent to Allah and ask forgiveness

thereof, because of this I actually repented a hundred times a day. "

Takbir command in Prayer



"Required saying Takbir on every change of movement except during prayer rose from the bow to say: "Allah hears those who praise Him"

get Hadith:

From Abu Hurayrah who said: From Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd Abu Hurairah that the priestly prayer of friends. Takbir each time he fell and got up. When finished he said: ByAllah, I was the person most similar to the prayer the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. (Narrated by Muslim)

Command Lifting Both Hands When Prayers

get Hadith:

From Abdullah ibn Umar who 'anhu, who said: I saw the Messenger sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam raised both hands up to shoulder level when starting the prayers, before bowingand when getting up from the bow. He did not pick between the two prostrations.(Narrated by Muslim)
